HOW DOES IT AFFECT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES?
Disabled people are the group that need to the most Medical attention, yet are the ones who tend to be in the poorest of health and without any access to it. Finding affordable and accessible healthcare for disabled people is extremely challenging. Most services rack up bills in the hundreds or thousands. Transportation is also a huge factor, as many good healthcare facilities are too far from the person’s home. Even if they find an affordable and close place, lots of healthcare professionals are not well equpped on how to properly work with or communicate with disabled people, further pushing them from receiving any help.

HOW CAN WE ACHIEVE IT?
A good start to making Healthcare more equal for disabled people would be accessibility. Not only would making it easier to find and pay for help, but communication is a huge factor as well. Things like adding interpretors or people who understand and can use ASL could go a long way. Properly training proffessionals in how to work with those with disabilities can easily fix a lot of issues in the healthcare system. These are all solutions for the proffessionals, though. But if you aren't in the healthcare field, there are still plenty of things you can do to help. Simply educating yourself on the matter can go a long way in terms of activism. There are also plenty of movements and organizations you can show support to by either spreading the word, donating, or signing petitions.
